우리를 인도하는 말씀
[하나님은 예배자를 찾으신다]
(요 4:23-24, 새번역) “「23」 참되게 예배를 드리는 사람들이 영과 진리로 아버지께 예배를 드릴 때가 온다. 지금이 바로 그 때이다. 아버지께서는 이렇게 예배를 드리는 사람들을 찾으신다.
「24」 하나님은 영이시다. 그러므로 하나님께 예배를 드리는 사람은 영과 진리로 예배를 드려야 한다."”
(요 4:23-24, NIV11) “「23」 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

[새학기의 첫 시간을 찬양의 열매로 드리자]
(민 18:13, 새번역) “그들의 땅에서 난 처음 익은 열매 가운데서, 그들이 나 주에게 가져 오는 것은 모두 너의 것이다. 너희 집에 있는 정결한 사람은 모두 그것을 먹을 수 있다.”

2. 함께 섬겨줄 분
1. 찬양 인도: 캠퍼스 워십을 섬겼던 분, 영어 찬양을 인도할 분, WFC 내의 인도자
2. 메시지 선포: 디아스포라 크리스챤의 정체성과 사명을 감당해 주실 분
3. 일반 강좌: 소그룹으로 진행 (교회 내외의 전문인 및 교수진들)
3. 기본 아이디어 (초안)
매년 8월에는 한국과 세계 곳곳에서 보스턴 인근(Greater Boston)으로 수많은 젊은이들이 몰려온다. 모든 민족(All nations)을 제자 삼으라는 주님의 명령은 존엄하다. 하나님은 하나님의 선교를 이루시고, 하나님의 백성은 하나님의 선교의 큰 물결안에 참여하는 특권을 갖는다. 워십프론티어 교회의 목자들과 청년들은 이 부르심에 한 부분이 되기를 원한다.
먼저 금요일에는 하나님 앞에 머물러 예배하고 중보기도하기를 원한다(금요일). 한국 찬양 1시간, 영어 찬양 1시간, 그리고 영어와 한국어로 함께 하는 찬양 1시간의 3파트로 진행되고, 사이 사이에 잠잠히 중보하는 시간을 갖기를 원한다. 이를 위한 찬양인도자와 사역자들을 초청하고 연합하는 것이 필요하다.
다음으로 토요일에는 만찬과 메시지를 나누길 원한다. 이곳에 온 Newcomers 들을 주님의 이름으로 초청하여 주님이 베푸시는 식사(저녁 만찬)을 나누길 원한다(K 바베큐, 한류 문화 음식). 만찬을 마친 후에는 크리스찬 청년과 일반 청년에게 각자에게 맞는 메시지를 제공하길 원한다. 예수를 따르는 청년들에게는 “디아스포라 크리스챤의 복된 사명”의 메세지가 선포되고, 신앙을 가지고 있지 못한 젊은이들에게는 이곳에서 첫학기를 잘 보낼 수 있는 좋은 정보를 나누길 원한다(학부, 석사, 박사과정의 첫학기,포닥및 연구년으로 온 본인과 가족들에게 학교생활, 뉴잉글랜드 생활, 어린 자녀들과 청소년 자녀들을 양육하는 데 도움이 되는 정보들)
주일에는 워십프론티어 교회의 예배를 통하여 성도들에게 디아스포라 시대의 제자의 삶에 대한 메세지가 선포되기를 원한다. 그리하여 예배를 통하여 주님의 마음을 품은 성도들이 예배후에 각 대학 캠퍼스로 두세사람씩 짝을 지어 마치 약속의 땅으로 나아가며 ‘그 날에 나에게 말씀하신 이 산지를 내게 주소서’라는 고백과 함께 캠퍼스 방문과 축복의 기도를 하는 시간을 갖기를 원한다.
마지막 레이버데이인 월요일에는 Hale Education의 시설인 North Beach에서 오후 소풍과 저녁 만찬과 클래식 콘서트를 하기 원한다.
4. 시기 (때를 정하는 지혜)
시기: 매년 8월 중순부터 9월 초는 새학기를 시작하는 때이다. 신입생 입학과 환영회, 기숙사 입소 및 new rent, 공황 라이드 요청. 개인과 교회가 가능한 최선을 다하여 이곳에 오는 학부와 대학원과 자녀를 데리고 오는 가정들을 돕는다. 그러나 9월 첫주를 지나면 이미 계획된 수많은 과정들의 그분들을 몰아간다. 출발 신호와 함께 빠른 속도로 달려나간다. 그런 와중에 교회는 영혼을 구원하고 주님의 제자로 헌신한 분들을 세워나가기 위해 수고하게 된다. 또한 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라고 하신 사랑을 실천하게 된다. 그런데 이 모든 것은 주님이 주시는 사랑과 능력과 지혜를 공급받음으로 시작되다는 분명히 하면서 사역을 감당해야 한다.
이런 점에서 레이버 데이 위켄드인 금요일, 토요일, 주일, 월요일은 여전히 바쁜 흐름 중에서도 아직 더 바쁜 때이다. 그러므로 이러한 시기를 지혜롭게 읽고 감당할 수 있는 사역을 준비하여 힘써 시작하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 이곳에
먼저온 크리스챤과 이제 이곳에 막 오는 크리스챤을 말씀과 기도와 예배로 주님께 좀더 가까이 나아가 주님이 원하시는 것이 무엇인지를 분별해야 한다. 주님이 2024-2025년 새학기와 새학년을 통해 각 개인에게는 “주님 이때에 저의 삶을 향한 주님의 뜻은 무엇입니까?” 그리고 “제 학업과 섬기는 교회와 일하는 일터에서 주님이 원하시는 뜻은 무엇입니까? 라는 고백을 하며 결단하고 헌신하는 시간을 갖는 것이 중요하다.
그리고 이곳에 오는 일반 학생과 이웃을 향한 사랑의 수고와 섬김 또한 중요하다. 이러한 것을 실천할 수 있는 좋은 때가 레이버 데이 위켄드이다.
5. 워십프론티어 교회의 섬김 영역
누가: 워십프론티어 목자들과 성도들과 청년들이 하나가 되어 감당하길 원한다. 더불어 주님이 보내주시는 사역자들과 믿음의 형제 자매들이 감당하게 될 것이다. 요일마다 - 금요일, 토요일, 주일, 월요일 - 담당 목자를 세워 위임하여 사역을 진행하게 될 것이다.

빌립보서를 어떻게 읽을 것인가
기쁨, 기쁨, 그리고 더 많은 기쁨! 이것은 동화 이야기 속의 그 불가능한 “그 후로 오랫동안 행복하게 살았습니다”라는 얘기가 아니다. 바울이 말하는 것은 신자라면 누구나 경험 할 수 있는 현재적인 실제 이야기이다! 그는 우리가 예수님 안에서 갖고있는 기쁨을 빼앗아 갈 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없다고 자신 있게 주장한다. 심지어 고통스러운 갈등 가운데 있을 때 조차 삶 속에 기쁨이 있으며 겸손한 영으로 섬길 때 기쁨이 있고, 예수님을 알고 그의 비교할 수 없는 축복을 알릴 때 기쁨이 있고 자족과 감사 가운데서 걸어갈 때 기쁨이 있다.
바울은 빌립보에 사는 사랑하는 친구들과 후원자들에게 보낸 이 기쁨으로 가득한 감사 편지의 중심에 그의 삶을 이끌어가는 열망을 나눈다. 이미 20년 이상 그리스도를 섬겨왔는데도 바울은 “내가 그리스도와 ...알려하여 ” (빌 3:10)라고 열정적으로 선언한다. 바울은 하나님을 향한 채워질 수 없는 갈으로 하나님과 더욱 더 친밀해지기를 갈망했으며 , 이 갈망이 모든 신자의 마음에도 가득 차기를 바랬다.
빌립보서의 많은 보물들 중에, 성경에서도 가장 유명한 예수님께 하는 찬양 시편 중 하나를 발견할 것이고 (빌 2:5-11), 예수님과의 관계에 비하면 종교 활동들은 헛되다는 것을 알게 되며 (빌 3:4-11), 하나님의 방법을 따라 당신의 생각을 다시 형성하는데 도움이 되는 실제적인 도구들을 얻게 될 것이다 (빌 4:4-9).
How to read Philippians
Joy, joy, and more joy! It’s not the impossible “happily ever after” of your favorite fairy tale; Paul describes the current reality every believer can experience! He confidently claims that nothing can stamp out the joy we have in Jesus! There is joy in living even in the midst of painful conflicts; there is joy in serving in a spirit of humility; there is joy in knowing Jesus and in making him and his incomparable blessings known; and there is joy when we walk in contentment and gratitude.
At the heart of this joy-filled, thank-you letter to his dear friends and supporters in Philippi, Paul shares the driving ambition of his life. Even after more than two decades of Christian service, Paul passionately declares, “I want to know Christ” (Php 3:10). In his insatiable hunger for God, Paul yearned for an ever-growing intimacy with him, a desire he hoped would fill the heart of every believer.
Among many gems, you’ll find one of the Bible’s most prominent psalms of praise to Jesus (Php 2:5-11); you’ll see the futility of religious activity compared to a relationship with Jesus (Php 3:4-11); and you’ll gain practical tools to help reshape your thinking according to God’s ways (Php 4:4-9).

The apostle Paul wrote it about ad 60–62, while under house arrest in Rome where he was awaiting trial on an appeal to the Roman emperor Nero.

무엇이 이 편지를 쓰게 했나?

What led to the writing of this letter?
The Roman colony of Philippi was where Paul planted the first church on European soil (Act 16:11-40), probably around ad 50. When Paul moved on, the church occasionally sent him financial aid, one of the few churches to do so (Php 4:15). Paul wanted to thank the Philippians for sending him money to help defray his living expenses as he awaited trial (Php 4:10-18). Paul also wanted to warn them against false teachers and urge them to greater unity among themselves.

- 임박한 죽음을 직면한 사람의 마지막 말들은 종종 중요한 영향력을 끼친다. 바울이 그의 사랑하는 제자이며 신실한 동료였던 디모데에게 마지막으로 쓴 편지도 분명 그렇다! 두번 째로 로마 감옥에 갇힌 바울은 곧 순교 당할 것이 확실했다. 바울의 명료하고 능력 있는 마지막 말들은 믿음 안에서 그의 아들 된 디모데 뿐 아니라 대대로 전 세계에 있는 모든 신자들의 마음 가운데 메아리쳐 왔다. 그가 “죽어가면서 남긴 말들”이 분명 우리가 지키며 살아가야할 말들이 되었다.
바울의 열정적인 충고는 디모데 시대에 그에게 그랬던 것처럼 우리에게도 동일하게 꼭 필요한 내용이다. 말할 수 없이 소중한 선물인 은혜만으로 구원받는 순전한 복음을 지키라. 고난을 견뎌내라. 하나님의 영감을 받은 말씀에 의지해라. 복음을 전파하는데 초점을 두라.
- The last words of a person facing imminent death often make a significant impact. This is certainly the case in Paul’s last letter to his beloved disciple and faithful colleague! Paul, imprisoned in Rome for the second time, faced certain martyrdom. The clarity and power of these his final words not only served Timothy, his son in the faith, but have echoed through the hearts of believers around the world down through the ages. Certainly his “dying words” are words to live by!
Paul’s passionate advice is just as vital for us as it was for Timothy back in his day: Guard the priceless gift—the pure gospel of salvation by grace alone; endure hardship; rely on God’s inspired Word; and stay focused on spreading the gospel.

- The apostle Paul wrote it to Timothy, probably in ad 66 or 67, while he was held in a Roman prison after the great fire of Rome. Although set by Nero, the fire became the trigger that launched the first major persecution of the church when they were unjustly blamed for the fire.

- Paul, imprisoned in Rome for the second time, realized he would not be released. Many of his supporters, perhaps thinking things were hopeless, had abandoned him in prison. As Nero’s crazed antics resulted in the death of thousands of believers, Paul knew that his remaining time on earth was short. His difficult circumstances, his concern for the churches he’d planted, and his love for Timothy spurred him to write these final words.

**언약결혼식 예식사 :
아주 먼 옛날, 세상 사람들이 알아주지도 인정해 주지도 않는 사랑을 위해 자신의 모든 것을 희생한 바보 사랑이 있었습니다. 결국, 그 사랑 때문에 많은 사람들이 생명을 얻어서 행복하게 되었습니다. 알아주지도 않고 무시당했던 그 사랑이 그런 위대한 일을 이룬 것입니다. 바로 예수그리스도의 사랑입니다. 오늘 이 자리에도 서로를 향해 그 바보사랑을 결심한 두 사람이 있습니다. 서로를 위해서 자신의 행복을 위해 준비해왔던 모든 것들을 상대의 행복을 위해 다 희생하기로 약속하며 헌신을 결심한 순결한 예수그리스도의 제자 신부와 신랑입니다. 오늘 우리 모두는 이 두 사람에게 최고의 축복을 보내려합니다.

Covenant Wedding Message :
A long, long time ago, there was a foolish love who sacrificed everything he had for a love that the world did not recognize or appreciate. In the end, because of that love, many people were saved and made happy. That love, which was unrecognized and ignored, accomplished such great things-the love of Jesus Christ. Today, there are two people in this room who have decided to do the same for each other. A bride and groom, both chaste disciples of Jesus Christ, who have made a commitment to each other, promising to sacrifice everything they have for their own happiness for the sake of the other. Today, we all want to send our best blessings to these two.
From Genesis to Revelation, the eternal covenant of a holy God and his people is associated with the marriage covenant of a husband and wife. So marriage is the act of agreeing to establish a new relationship with God in a holy and eternal covenant. Marriage is a covenant, which is distinct from a vow (contract) because it requires dying to self and sacrificing oneself. So it is clear that marriage is fundamentally a covenant with God, just as God and Israel are covenantal, and Christ and the church are covenantal. The family, the couple, is the first divine institution established in covenant with God.
From this fact, we realize that our marriage is also a covenant between the two parties, the bride and groom, and God. So when God enters into a marriage covenant with the bride and groom, He blesses them, helps them to remain faithful, and demonstrates God's faithfulness through their spouse in their life together as a couple.
Today, the couple in this covenant wedding ceremony should remember that marriage is a covenant between them and God, and God has promised to help them keep this covenant at all times, so God has already declared that he will bless the family of faith that they are building together and protect their home. In fulfillment of that promise, we all bless and look forward to the fulfillment of heavenly blessings on the bride and groom, the family of faith that they are building together as husband and wife.
