(갈 5:16-23, 새번역) [16] 내가 또 말합니다. 여러분은 성령께서 인도하여 주시는 대로 살아가십시오. 그러면 육체의 욕망을 채우려 하지 않을 것입니다.
[17] 육체의 욕망은 성령을 거스르고, 성령이 바라시는 것은 육체를 거스릅니다. 이 둘이 서로 적대관계에 있으므로, 여러분은 자기가 원하는 일을 할 수 없게 됩니다.
[18] 그런데 여러분이, 성령의 인도하심을 따라 살아가면, 율법 아래에 있는 것이 아닙니다.
[19] 육체의 행실은 환히 드러난 것들입니다. 곧 음행과 더러움과 방탕과

(갈 5:16-23, NIV11) [16] So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
[17] For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever* you want.
[18] But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
[19] The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
[20] idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
[21] and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

[22] But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
[23] gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

하나님은 농부이십니다. 하나님은 어떤 가지를 자르시며 열매를 맺게 하십니다. 신자는 예수안에 머물러야 합니다. 예수의 말씀에 머물러 살려고 애써야 합니다. 신자는 예수의 계명을 지키며 예수의 사랑안에 거하여 살면서 예수의 기쁨을 풍성하게 누려야 합니다. 예수의 계명은 서로 사랑하는 것입니다.

성령안의 삶, 그리스도안에서의 삶이란 무엇을 뜻합니까?

- 갈라디아서 5장에서 “영적인 삶” “성령열매를 맺는 삶”은 특별한 영적 경험과 감각을 뜻하는 것이아니라, 신자가 삶의 모든 영역에서 삶의 실천과 연관된 것입니다.

What does it mean to live in the Spirit, to live in Christ?

- In Galatians 5, "spiritual life" and "living a life that bears the fruit of the Spirit" do not refer to a particular spiritual experience or sensation, but rather to the way a believer lives in all areas of life.

11. Self-knowledge / 자기이해 (자기 인식, 자기 살핌)

• “제자도와 사역을 실천할 때 나로 하여금 인간다움을 유지할 수 있게 해주는 것은 무엇인가?”- 영적으로 건강한 자아를 유지하기 위해서는 어느 정도 자기인식의 훈련이 필요하다. 

  • "What allows me to stay human as I practice discipleship and ministry?"
    Maintaining a spiritually healthy self requires a certain amount of self-awareness.

• 자기 인식의 자리 / A place of self-awareness

  1. 대체로 사람은 굉장히 어려운 상황에 직면해서야 내면의 깊은 동기들을 의도적으로 진지하게 탐색하게 된다.
     It is usually only when we are faced with a very difficult situation that we deliberately and seriously explore our deepest motivations.

  2. 무정념의 자리 (dispassion)

     1. 기도와 일상의 삶속에서 하나님께서 우리의 이름을 부르시는 것을 들을 수 있을 만큼 여유로운 공간을 마련할 때에야 비로소 그런 의식을 획득하게 된다.

     2. 기도란? <그져 하나님께 아뢰는 행위로서의 기도가 아니라, 하나님께서 내 이름을 부르시는 것을 들을 수 있을 만큼 평정을 유지하고 하나님께 나아가 “제가 진정 어떤 사람인지 말씀해 주소서”라고 기도하는 일이다.>

     3. 무거운 짐에 눌린 상태에서 ‘성령 안의 삶’을 이어가기 위해서 우리는 하나님께 “제가 어떤 사람인지 말씀해 주소서”라고 말할 수 있어야 한다.
        >>> It is only when we make space in our prayers and in our daily lives to hear God call our name that we gain this awareness.

        Prayer is not the act of calling out to God, but rather the act of remaining calm enough to hear God call my name and to turn to God and say, "Tell me who I really am."

        In order to continue to live "in the Spirit" under heavy burdens, we must be able to say to God, "Tell me what kind of person I am.

• [def] 하나님께서 우리 이름을 불러 주시는 일에 우리의 전 존재가 달려있다. <하나님께서 나의 이름을 불러 주시는 일에 나의 전 존재가 달려 있다>
  >> Our whole existence depends on God calling us by name. <My whole existence depends on God calling my name>.

  • - “내가 너를 지명하여 불렀나니, 너는 나의 것이다”라고 말씀하신 것을 깨닫게 되어 자신이 존재하고 형통한 것의 이유를 찾게 된다.

  • 기도할 때 중요한 것은 - 하나님이 음성을 듣는 깊은 차원까지 파고 들어가는 것이다. 그곳에서만 우리를 지으신 음성, 곧 우리 이름을 세상에서 불러내어 생명을 허락하시는 주님의 음성을 들을 수 있다. 

  • 자기인식(자기이해 /   Self-knowledge)이란 우리 내면의 동기를 끈질기게 파고드는 일을 가리키는 것이 아니다. 

1. 나를 에워싼 기대와 예측과 요구들이 쏟아 내는 소음에서 해방되어 내 이름을 부르시는 하나님의 음성을 들을 수 있을 만큼 자유를 누리는 일을 말한다.
   - “내가 너를 지명하여 불렀나니, 너는 나의 것이다”라고 말씀하신 것을 깨닫게 되어 자신이 존재하고 형통한 것의 이유를 찾게 된다.

2. 기도할 때 중요한 것은 - 하나님이 음성을 듣는 깊은 차원까지 파고 들어가는 것이다. 그곳에서만 우리를 지으신 음성, 곧 우리 이름을 세상에서 불러내어 생명을 허락하시는 주님의 음성을 들을 수 있다. 

3. 자기인식(자기이해 /   Self-knowledge)이란 우리 내면의 동기를 끈질기게 파고드는 일을 가리키는 것이 아니다. 

1. 나를 에워싼 기대와 예측과 요구들이 쏟아 내는 소음에서 해방되어 내 이름을 부르시는 하나님의 음성을 들을 수 있을 만큼 자유를 누리는 일을 말한다.

• >>> 대면, 제가 진정 누구인지 말씀해 주소서. 그 자리로, 그 깊은 기도의 자리로 나아갑니다.  “나의 이름을 부르시는 하나님의 음성”을 듣기를 원합니다.
  >>> Face to face, tell me who I really am. Go to that place, to that deep place of prayer. I want to hear "the voice of God calling my name."
  

12. Stillness / 고요함 (평정)

자기인식을 온전히 누리는 자유가 있으면 곧바로 고용함(평정)으로 이어진다.

12-1.하나님께서 말씀하시는 것을 듣기 위해서는 평정, 곧 마음이나 정신의 고요함 뿐만 아니라 몸의 고요함을 유지하는 것이 필요하다.

1. 시편 46:10
   (시 46:10, 새번역) 너희는 잠깐 손을 멈추고, 내가 하나님인 줄 알아라. 내가 뭇 나라로부터 높임을 받는다. 내가 이 땅에서 높임을 받는다.

   (Ps 46:10, NIV11) He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

2. “자아 폭풍”이라고 묘사한 것이 조금은 잦아 들어야, 하나님이 어떤 분이고 나는 누구이며 세상이 어떤 곳인지 보이기 시작한다.

12-2.몸의 고요함은 이러한 인식의 한 부분이다.

1. 프란치스코 드 살 (17세기)의 말: “부인께서 좀 더 천천히 걷고 느리게 말하고 찬찬히 먹을 수 있게 되면, 그 때 영성 지도를 시작하겠습니다”

2. 평정은 이처럼 일상의 모든 일에서 우리가 취하는 태도를 인식하는 것과 밀접한 관계가 있다. 

12-3.말의 고요함 : 침묵은 다가오는 새 시대의 성사라고 합니다.

1. 우리가 그리스도인으로서 기도하며 살아가는 이곳에서 미래의 삶, 곧 하나님 나라의 삶을 누리고자 한다면, 고요함(평정)이 삶의 한 부분이 되어야 한다.

2. 이러한 삶은 <말의 침묵>, <몸의 침묵>을 통하여 고요함을 누린다.

3. 말의 침묵이란 - 여러분을  평온하게 하고 안정시켜 주는 언어 방식, 말의 방식을 찾는 것을 뜻한다.

   - 침묵을 깨뜨리지 않으면서도 반복해서 말 할 수 있는 작은 구절들이다.

   1. 예수 기도: “주 예수 그리스도 하나님의 아들이시여, 이 죄인에게 자비를 베푸소서”

   2. 친숙한 찬양 가사, 시편 구절, 복음서의 그리스도의 말씀, 사도바울이 인용한 “마라나타”(주여, 오소서)

   3. 속히 나를 구원하소서. 주의 얼굴의 영광을 비춰주소서

12-4.기도에서 마주치는 진짜 문제: 하나님의 부재가 아니라, 우리 자신의 부재라는 말을 종종 듣는다.

1. 기도하는 자리에 하나님이 계시지 않은 것이 문제가 아니라, 우리가 없는 것이 문제이다. 우리는 거의 모든 자리에서 기억과 공상과 염려를 끌어들여 씨름한다.

13. 자기 인식과 고요함(평정)은 매우 밀접하게 서로 연결되어 있다. 

13-1. 고요함을 유지할 때, 하나님께서 우리의 이름을 불러 주시는 것을 더 잘 들을 수 있다.

13-2. 이 순간은 신비이다. 이 순간에 우리는 우리를 지으셨고 지금도 매 순간 우리를 지으시는 하나님의 행위와 하나님의 말씀에 연결된다. 

1. (예) 사람들과 ‘창조’의 의미에 대해 토론할 때, 창조는 현재도 일어나고 있으며 그 까닮은 하나님께서는 영원토록 말씀하시고 이름을 불러 주시며 그로 인해 내가 지금 실재하게 되기 때문이라고 말하면 사람들이 깜짝 놀라곤 한다. 

2. 이렇게 깜짝 놀라는 이유처럼, 하나님께서 이름을 불러 주시기를 멈추신다면 뭇 이웃과 나, 우주 전체, 수백만 광년 떨어져 있는 베텔게우스와 켄타우루스 자리 알파 별과 모든 것이 그 순간 존재하기를 멈추게 된다. 

3. 하나님은 지금도 창조하고 계십니다.

4. 창조는 아주 오래전에 일어난 일이 아니라, 오늘도 일어나고 있다.

5. 평정에 잠김으로써 우리는 창조의 그 순간에, 하나님께서 말씀하시고 베푸시며 우리를 생명으로 부르시는 영원한 실재에 연결되기를 구하게 된다.

6. 평정(그 고요함), 지금도 말씀하시고(내 이름을 불러주시고) 지금도 창조하시고 지금도 생명을 주시는 하나님과 연결되어 영원(천국성)을 공급받는다.

40. 흔들리지 않는 제자의 삶을 위한 질문들

정리: 신자가 제자의 삶을 살아가려고 할 때, 흔들림 없이 제자의 삶을 감당할 수 있게 해주는 것은 무엇입니까?

1. 자기 인식, 평정(고요함), 성장, 기쁨이다.

1. 이 네가지는 제자도의 삶을 받쳐 주는 기본 요소들이다.

2. 교회와 세상과 우리 내부에서 우리를 압박해 영적 건강을 지키려는 노력을 방해하는 모든 문제에 맞서 싸우게 해주는 것들이다. 

2. 적어도 하나님께서 우리 삶에 들어오시고 거하시도록 문을 열어드릴 수 있게 하는 질문

1. 우리는 자신에 대해 얼마나 깊이 알기 원할까요?

2. 우리가 평정을 유지하도록 도와주는 것은 무엇입니까?

3. 차분하면서도 힘차게 계속 달려 나갈 각오가 되었습니까?

4. 또 그 결과로 충만해지고 넘쳐나는  기쁨을 맞을 준비가 되었습니까?

Summary: As a believer attempts to live the life of a disciple, what will enable him or her to do so without faltering?

Self-awareness, equanimity (stillness), growth, and joy.

These negatives are the foundational elements that support a life of discipleship.

They enable us to stand up to all the challenges that come from the church, the world, and within ourselves that press down on us and sabotage our efforts to maintain spiritual health.

Questions that will at least open the door for God to enter and dwell in our lives.

How deeply do we want to know ourselves?

What is it that helps us keep our composure?

Are we ready to keep going, calmly and energetically?

And are we ready to receive the fullness and overflowing joy that results?

오늘 말씀을 듣고 삶에 적용며 헌신 할 것을 주님께 고백하고 도움을 구하시길 바랍니다.

I encourage you to confess and ask the Lord for help to hear the Word today, apply it to your life, and make a commitment.

하나님은 한 사람을 부르셔서 하나님의 꿈을 이루기 위해 시작하십니다. 하나님의 부르심을 받은 그 사람은 "첫 사랑"을 경험하고 "첫 행위"로 하나님을 따르게 됩니다.
하나님은 하나님의 사람들의 가슴과 마음에 하나님의 사랑과 말씀을 넣어주시는 분입니다.

이번 2024-2025 새학년과 새학기를 맞이하여, 주님이 여러분에 주신 첫사랑을 회복하시고, 첫행위로 온전한 예배를 드리는데 힘쓰시길 바랍니다. 교회 공동체적으로 “New Beginnings, Boton 2024-25”에 힘써 참여하시길 부탁 드립니다.

10. “내 말이 너희 안에 머물러 있으면” (4절, 7절)

• 하나님의 꿈을 이루기 위해서는 “주님의 말씀이 내 안에 머물러 있는지를 살펴보아야 합니다”
  >> To fulfil God's dreams, I must "examine whether His word abides in me"

• 주님의 말씀이 내 안에 머물러 있기 위해서 몸으로 익혀야 합니다.
  >> In order for the word of the Lord to remain in me, I must cultivate it.(You have to cook it with your body.)

May you embrace that the Lord has called you to holiness, and may you live as a holy artist, showing those around you what they have not yet seen. May they be used by God and people to help them see the beauty and depth of the world they have not yet seen, the warmth and wisdom of God they have not yet seen, and the parts of themselves they have not yet seen.

신자가 말씀을 함께 읽고 듣는 것과 함께 성찬에 참여하는 것은 교회 공동체를 세우는 기초가 된다. 성경을 함께 읽는 것은 성경적인 교회, 신약교회를 세우는 유익을 갖게 합니다.
Believers reading and hearing the Word together and participating in the sacraments together are the basis for building the church community. Reading the Bible together has the benefit of building a biblical church, a New Testament church.

(행 2:42, 새번역) “그들은 사도들의 가르침에 몰두하며, 서로 사귀는 일과 *빵을 떼는 일과 기도에 힘썼다. [*'성만찬' 또는 '친교 식사'를 가리킴”]

(Ac 2:42, NIV11) “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

[참고] “사도들의 가르침”은 첫째 사도들의 글을 통하여 신약성경의 기초가 되었으므로 성경 말씀으로 이해할 수 있다. 둘째 이 가르침은 단순한 지식전달이 아니라 사도들의 삶과 가치관을 “보여주며 가르치”는 관계중심의 제자훈련으로 이해할 수 있습니다.
[Note] The "teaching of the apostles" is understood to be the words of Scripture because it is the foundation of the New Testament through the writings of the apostles. Second, this teaching is not simply the transmission of knowledge, but rather relational teaching that demonstrates and teaches the lives and values of the apostles.

[설교 요약]

신자는 예수를 따르고 예수를 보고 배우는 제자의 삶을 살게 됩니다.

제자의 삶의 중요한 특징은 거룩함입니다.

거룩함은 거룩하게 보이는 것을 모아놓은 모습(명사)이 아니라, 거룩함의 길로 인도하는 주님의 인도하심을 힘써 따라가는 동작(동사)입니다.

사도 바울은 주님의 영이 신자들을 점점 더 큰 영광안에서 변화하도록 인도한다고 고백합니다. 그리하여 진정한 거룩하다는 것은 세상을 넓히는 것이며 세상에 참여하는 것입니다. 신자는 자신의 힘과 능력과 지혜로 거룩함을 드러낼 수 없습니다.

거룩함은 자신의 모든 삶의 자리에서 하나님의 탁월하심에 사로잡히는 것으로 시작됩니다. 그래서 로완 윌리암스는 "거룩하게 되는 것은 하나님의 탁월하심에 완전히 장악당해서 그 탁월성이 신자의 주된 관심사가 되고, 신자를 통해 빛으로 솟아나 다른 사람들에게 비추게 되는 것입니다"라고 합니다.

Sermon summaries

As a believer, you live a life of discipleship, following Jesus and learning from him. An important characteristic of the life of a disciple is holiness.

Holiness is not a collection of things that appear to be holy (noun), but an action (verb) of following the Lord's leading in the way of holiness.

The apostle Paul confesses that the Spirit of the Lord leads believers to be transformed into ever-increasing glory, so to be truly holy is to be world-expanding and world-participating. The believer cannot manifest holiness in his own strength, power, and wisdom.

Being Holy begins with being captivated by the excellence of God in every aspect of one's life, so much so that Rowan Williams says, "To be holy is to be so captivated by the excellence of God that it becomes the believer's primary concern, shines through the believer as light, and shines forth to others."

May the believers at WorshipFrontier embrace that the Lord has called them to holiness and live as holy artists, showing those around them what they have not yet seen. May they be used by God and people to help them see the beauty and depth of the world they have not yet seen, the warmth and wisdom of God they have not yet known, and the parts of themselves they have not yet seen.

십자가의 길을 가신 예수님은 워십프론티어 신자들을 거룩하게 하시어 성도(Saints, God’s holy people)라고 불러 주십니다.

거룩한 사람들은 ‘기쁨’을 낳는 사람입니다. 거룩한 사람들은 하나님을 크게 보게 하며, 하나님이 만드신 세상을 더 깊이 보게 합니다. 그리하여 함께 살아가는 사람들에게도 선한 영향력을 나누어 주게 됩니다.

작은 예수로 살아가십시오. 나를 작은 예수로 바라봐주시는 하나님의 마음(아버지의 마음)안에서 날마다 용기를 가지고 살아가십시오.

2. Review

By going the way of the cross, Jesus sanctifies the believers of the WorkFrontier and calls them saints, God's holy people.

Holy people are those who bring forth 'joy'. Holy people see God bigger, they see the world God made more deeply, and they are a force for good in the lives of those they live with.

Live as a little Jesus. Live each day with courage in the heart of God (the Father's heart) who sees you as little Jesus.

21. 두 종류의 이기주의자

자신을 너무 사랑해서 다른 사람을 위한 공간이 없는 이기주의자가 있는가 하면, 자신을 너무 사랑해서 다른 모든 사람이 자신을 사랑할 수 있게 만드는 이기주의자가 있습니다.

21. Two kinds of egotists
There are egotistis that are so in love with themselves that they have no room for anybody else, and there are egotists that are so in love with themselves that they make it possible for everybody else to bve in love with themselves.

다시 한번 기억합시다.
”거룩하다는 것은 세상을 넓히는 것이며, 세상에 참여하는 것입니다.”

Let's recall once again.
”Being holy is about enlarging the world, and about being involved in the world.”

22. 어떻게 하면 거룩하게 되는가? (함정)

만약에 어떤 사람이: '나는 완전히 이기적이지 않고 마음을 비우며 살겠다, 20분마다 내가 나만을 세우는 지, 내가 이기적인지 점검하겠다, 또 20분마다 내가 정신을 차리고 있는지를 생각해 볼 것이다. ... 잠깐만요; 그게 문제입니다!'; 이것이 바로 기독교적 거룩함의 함정입니다. (이것이 그리스도인의 거룩함에 대한 함정 입니다.)

22. the catch(trap) in Christian holiness.

"If you sit down and say, 'I am going to be completely unselfish and unself-conscious; every 20 minutes I shall check whether I'm being self-conscious, whether I'm being selfish; every 20 minutes I'll think whether I'm thinking ... oh, hang on; that is the problem!'

That is the catch(trap) in Christian holiness.

22-1. 어떻게 하면 거룩하게 되는가? (하나님의 탁월하심)

거룩함은 신자가 자신을 의식하지 않을 때 모습을 드러내며, 바로 이 점 때문에 거룩하게 되는 self-help books는 없습니다.

거룩하게 되는 것은 하나님의 탁월하심에 완전히 장악당해서 그 탁월성이 신자의 주된 관심사가 되고, 신자를 통해 빛으로 솟아나 다른 사람들에게 비추게 되는 것입니다.

22-1. How do I become holy? (the excellence(extraordinariness) of God)
Holiness is manifested when the believer is not conscious of it, and that is why there are no self-help books that make you holy.

Becoming holy is to be so taken over by the excellence(extraordinariness) of God that that excellence becomes the believer's primary concern, rising up through the believer as light to shine on others.

주님! 하나님의 탁월하심에 장악되는 신자가 되게 하여 주소서!

Lord, help us to be believers overwhelmed by the excellence of God!

교회와 신자가 하나님의 아름다움과 영광을 노래하게 하소서.
교회와 신자가 자신을 내어주시는 하나님의 사랑, 자신을 잊는 하나님의 사랑을 참 인간다운 모습으로 증언하게 하소서

Let the church and the faithful sing of God's beauty and glory.
Let the church and the faithful bear witness to God's self-giving, self-forgetting love in a truly human way.

22-2. Look at God, enjoy God’s world.

거룩하게 되기를 바라다면 하나님을 바라보십시오. 거룩하게 되기를 소망한다면 하나님이 지으신 세상을 즐거워하고 그 속으로 들어가 있는 힘을 다해 사랑하고 섬기십시오.

If you want to be holy, look at God. If you want to be holy, enjoy God’s world, enter into it as much as you can in love and in service.

31. 음악가, 예술가, 시인처럼

- 위대한 예술가(음악가, 시인, 화가)는 자기 자신을 내세우지 않으면서 주변에 있는 다른 사람들이 아직 보지못하고 있는 것들을 새롭게 보게하는 일을 합니다.

이들은 주변 사람들이 놓칠 수 밖에 없는 것들, 곧 다른 방법으로는 볼 수 없는 여러 차원과 깊이를 보도록 도와줍니다. (비록 그들은 전인격적으로 성숙한 사람이 아닐 수 있음에도 불구하고 그런 일을 합니다.)

- 진정 거룩한 사람은 위대한 예술가들과 비슷합니다. 거룩한 신자는 역시 자신들의 삶을 통해 예술가들이 예술 작품을 창조해 내듯 뭔가 놀라운 일을 드러내며, 더 큰 세상을 보여주고, 세로운 빛과 새 풍경을 열어 보입니다.

*30. like a musician, artist, or poet

- Great artists (musicians, poets, painters) do things that make others around them see things they don't already see, without putting themselves forward.

They help others around them see things that they would otherwise miss-things that have multiple dimensions and depths that they can't see otherwise. (They do this despite the fact that they may not be holistically mature people.)

- A truly holy person is similar to a great artist. Holy believers reveal something wonderful with their lives, just as artists create works of art, showing us a larger world, opening up new light and new vistas.

32. 거룩하도록 부름을 받았다.

신자는 모두 거룩하도록 부름받았습니다. 예수의 영 안에서 거룩함을 이룰 수 있는 능력을 받았습니다. 예수의 영은 확신을 품고 진실하게 기도할 수 있는 능력을 부어 주십니다.

사도바울은 “영”이신 주님께서 신자의 얼굴에서 너울을 벗겨 주시고 신자를 변화시키셔서 “점점 더 큰 영광”에 이르도록 이끌어 주신다고 말하고 있습니다. (고린도후서 3:16-18)

32. Called to be holy.

Every believer is called to holiness. In the Spirit of Jesus, we are empowered to achieve holiness. The Spirit of Jesus empowers us to pray with confidence and sincerity.

The apostle Paul says that the Lord, who is "the Spirit," removes the frown from the believer's face and transforms the believer, leading him or her to "more and more glory." (2 Corinthians 3:16-18)

33. 이제 시작합시다.

신자는 아래과 같은 두가지의 삶으로 거룩함의 길을 시작할 수 있습니다.

첫째, 바라보기 - 예수님을 바라보고, 하나님이 어떤 분이신지 바라보고, 복음을 바라보고, 그 모든 것을 의미합니다;

둘째, 탐구 - 우리의 이웃이 어디에 있는지, 그들의 필요는 무엇인지, 그들이 신자에게 무엇을 하라고 부르고 있는지, 신자가 그들을 더 인간답게 만드는 데 어떻게 도울 수 있는지 탐구합니다.

33. Now let's get started.

Believers can begin the path of holiness by living in two ways

Looking - looking at Jesus, looking at what God is like, looking at the gospel, and all that means;

Exploring - exploring where human being are, what therir needs are, what they are calling us to do, how we may help make them more human.
