(요한복음 6:31-39, 새번역) “「31」 '그는 하늘에서 빵을 내려서, 그들에게 먹게 하셨다' 한 성경 말씀대로, 우리 조상들은 광야에서 만나를 먹었습니다."
「32」 예수께서 그들에게 대답하셨다. "내가 진정으로 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 하늘에서 너희에게 빵을 내려다 주신 이는 모세가 아니다. 하늘에서 참 빵을 너희에게 주시는 분은 내 아버지시다.
「33」 하나님의 빵은 하늘에서 내려와 세상에 생명을 주는 것이다."
「34」 그들은 예수께 말하였다. "주님, 그 빵을 언제나 우리에게 주십시오."
「35」 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 생명의 빵이다. 내게로 오는 사람은 결코 주리지 않을 것이요, 나를 믿는 사람은 다시는 목마르지 않을 것이다.
「36」 그러나 내가 이미 말한 대로, 너희는 [나를] 보고도 믿지 않는다.
「37」 아버지께서 내게 주시는 사람은 다 내게로 올 것이요, 또 내게로 오는 사람은 내가 물리치지 않을 것이다.
「38」 그것은, 내가 내 뜻을 행하려고 하늘에서 내려온 것이 아니라, 나를 보내신 분의 뜻을 행하려고 왔기 때문이다.
「39」 나를 보내신 분의 뜻은, 내게 주신 사람을 내가 한 사람도 잃어버리지 않고, 마지막 날에 모두 살리는 일이다.”
(John 6:31-39, NIV11) “「31」 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”
「32」 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.
「33」 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
「34」 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”
「35」 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
「36」 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe.
「37」 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
「38」 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
「39」 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.”

May you embrace that the Lord has called you to holiness, and may you live as a holy artist, showing those around you what they have not yet seen. May they be used by God and people to help them see the beauty and depth of the world they have not yet seen, the warmth and wisdom of God they have not yet seen, and the parts of themselves they have not yet seen.

/ 10. The Benefits of Reading the Bible Together
신자가 말씀을 함께 읽고 듣는 것과 함께 성찬에 참여하는 것은 교회 공동체를 세우는 기초가 된다. 성경을 함께 읽는 것은 성경적인 교회, 신약교회를 세우는 유익을 갖게 합니다.
Believers reading and hearing the Word together and participating in the sacraments together are the basis for building the church community. Reading the Bible together has the benefit of building a biblical church, a New Testament church.(행 2:42, 새번역) “그들은 사도들의 가르침에 몰두하며, 서로 사귀는 일과 *빵을 떼는 일과 기도에 힘썼다. [*'성만찬' 또는 '친교 식사'를 가리킴”]
(Ac 2:42, NIV11) “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
[참고] “사도들의 가르침”은 첫째 사도들의 글을 통하여 신약성경의 기초가 되었으므로 성경 말씀으로 이해할 수 있다. 둘째 이 가르침은 단순한 지식전달이 아니라 사도들의 삶과 가치관을 “보여주며 가르치”는 관계중심의 제자훈련으로 이해할 수 있습니다.
[Note] The "teaching of the apostles" is understood to be the words of Scripture because it is the foundation of the New Testament through the writings of the apostles. Second, this teaching is not simply the transmission of knowledge, but rather relational teaching that demonstrates and teaches the lives and values of the apostles.
[11. 하나님의 입에서 나오는 말씀으로 산다]

(마 4:4, 새번역) “예수께서 대답하셨다. "성경에 기록하기를 *'사람이 빵으로만 살 것이 아니라, 하나님의 입에서 나오는 모든 말씀으로 살 것이다' 하였다." / *신 8:3”
(Mt 4:4, NIV11) “Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’*” / *Deut. 8:3”
[12. 그 말씀이 하나님이시다. 예수가 생명의 빵이다]

(요 6:35, 새번역) “예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 생명의 빵이다. 내게로 오는 사람은 결코 주리지 않을 것이요, 나를 믿는 사람은 다시는 목마르지 않을 것이다.”

[13. 믿음은 그리스도의 말씀을 들음에서 나온다]

[14. 신자는 참 양식과 참 음료인 예수를 먹고 영원히 산다]

(요 6:53-58, 새번역) “「53」 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 진정으로 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 너희가 인자의 살을 먹지 아니하고, 또 인자의 피를 마시지 아니하면, 너희 속에는 생명이 없다.
「54」 내 살을 먹고, 내 피를 마시는 사람은 영원한 생명을 가지고 있고, 마지막 날에 내가 그를 살릴 것이다.
「55」 내 살은 참 양식이요, 내 피는 참 음료이다.
「56」 내 살을 먹고, 내 피를 마시는 사람은 내 안에 있고, 나도 그 사람 안에 있다.
「57」 살아 계신 아버지께서 나를 보내셨고, 내가 아버지 때문에 사는 것과 같이, 나를 먹는 사람도 나 때문에 살 것이다.
「58」 이것은 하늘에서 내려온 빵이다. 이것은 너희의 조상이 먹고서도 죽은 그런 것과는 같지 아니하다. 이 빵을 먹는 사람은 영원히 살 것이다."”(요 6:53-58, NIV11) “「53」 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.
「54」 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.
「55」 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
「56」 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
「57」 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
「58」 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.””
