(행 2:36-47, 새번역)
“「36」 그러므로 이스라엘 온 집안은 확실히 알아두십시오. 하나님께서는 여러분이 십자가에 못박은 이 예수를 주님과 그리스도가 되게 하셨습니다."
「37」 사람들이 이 말을 듣고 마음이 찔려서 "형제들이여, 우리가 어떻게 하면 좋겠습니까?" 하고 베드로와 다른 사도들에게 말하였다.
「38」 베드로가 대답하였다. "회개하십시오. 그리고 여러분 각 사람은 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 세례를 받고, 죄 용서를 받으십시오. 그리하면 성령을 선물로 받을 것입니다.
「39」 이 약속은 여러분과 여러분의 자녀와 또 멀리 떨어져 있는 모든 사람, 곧 우리 주 하나님께서 부르시는 모든 사람에게 주신 것입니다."
「40」 베드로는 이 밖에도 많은 말로 증언하고, 비뚤어진 세대에서 구원을 받으라고 그들에게 권하였다.
「41」 그의 말을 받아들인 사람들은 세례를 받았다. 이렇게 해서, 그 날에 신도의 수가 약 삼천 명이나 늘어났다.
「42」 그들은 사도들의 가르침에 몰두하며, 서로 사귀는 일과 빵을 떼는 일과 기도에 힘썼다. [②'성만찬' 또는 '친교 식사'를 가리킴]
「43」 모든 사람에게 두려운 마음이 생겼다. 사도들을 통하여 놀라운 일과 표징이 많이 일어났던 것이다.
「44」 믿는 사람은 모두 함께 지내며, 모든 것을 공동으로 소유하였다.
「45」 그들은 재산과 소유물을 팔아서, 모든 사람에게 필요한 대로 나누어주었다.
「46」 그리고 날마다 한 마음으로 성전에 열심히 모이고, 집집이 돌아가면서 빵을 떼며, 순전한 마음으로 기쁘게 음식을 먹고,
「47」 하나님을 찬양하였다. 그래서 그들은 모든 사람에게서 호감을 샀다. 주님께서는 구원 받는 사람을 날마다 더하여 주셨다.”
(행 2:36-47, ESV) “「36」 Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified."
「37」 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"
「38」 And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
「39」 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself."
「40」 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation."
「41」 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.
「42」 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
「43」 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.
「44」 And all who believed were together and had all things in common.
「45」 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.
「46」 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,
「47」 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.”
(행 2:36-47, MSG) “「36」 "All Israel, then, know this： There's no longer room for doubt--God made him Master and Messiah, this Jesus whom you killed on a cross."
「37」 Cut to the quick, those who were there listening asked Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers! Brothers! So now what do we do?"
「38」 Peter said, "Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
「39」 The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away--whomever, in fact, our Master God invites."
「40」 He went on in this vein for a long time, urging them over and over, "Get out while you can; get out of this sick and stupid culture!"
「41」 That day about three thousand took him at his word, were baptized and were signed up.
「42」 They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers.
「43」 Everyone around was in awe--all those wonders and signs done through the apostles!
「44」 And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common.
「45」 They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person's need was met.
「46」 They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful,
「47」 as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.”
