성경본문/ Bible Text

(요한복음 6:31-39, 새번역) “「31」 '그는 하늘에서 빵을 내려서, 그들에게 먹게 하셨다' 한 성경 말씀대로, 우리 조상들은 광야에서 만나를 먹었습니다."
「32」 예수께서 그들에게 대답하셨다. "내가 진정으로 진정으로 너희에게 말한다. 하늘에서 너희에게 빵을 내려다 주신 이는 모세가 아니다. 하늘에서 참 빵을 너희에게 주시는 분은 내 아버지시다.
「33」 하나님의 빵은 하늘에서 내려와 세상에 생명을 주는 것이다."
「34」 그들은 예수께 말하였다. "주님, 그 빵을 언제나 우리에게 주십시오."
「35」 예수께서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내가 생명의 빵이다. 내게로 오는 사람은 결코 주리지 않을 것이요, 나를 믿는 사람은 다시는 목마르지 않을 것이다.
「36」 그러나 내가 이미 말한 대로, 너희는 [나를] 보고도 믿지 않는다.
「37」 아버지께서 내게 주시는 사람은 다 내게로 올 것이요, 또 내게로 오는 사람은 내가 물리치지 않을 것이다.
「38」 그것은, 내가 내 뜻을 행하려고 하늘에서 내려온 것이 아니라, 나를 보내신 분의 뜻을 행하려고 왔기 때문이다.
「39」 나를 보내신 분의 뜻은, 내게 주신 사람을 내가 한 사람도 잃어버리지 않고, 마지막 날에 모두 살리는 일이다.”

(John 6:31-39, NIV11) “「31」 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”
「32」 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.
「33」 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
「34」 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”
「35」 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
「36」 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe.
「37」 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
「38」 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
「39」 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.”

[20] 큰 집에는 금그릇과 은그릇만 있는 것이 아니라, 나무그릇과 질그릇도 있어서, 어떤 것은 귀하게 쓰이고, 어떤 것은 천하게 쓰입니다.
[21] 그러므로 누구든지 이러한 것들로부터 자신을 깨끗하게 하면, 그는 주인이 온갖 좋은 일에 요긴하게 쓰는 성별된 귀한 그릇이 될 것입니다.
[22] 그대는 젊음의 정욕을 피하고, 깨끗한 마음으로 주님을 찾는 사람들과 함께, 의와 믿음과 사랑과 평화를 좇으십시오.
[23] 어리석고 무식한 논쟁을 멀리하십시오. 그대가 아는 대로, 거기에서 싸움이 생깁니다.
[24] 주님의 종은 다투지 말아야 합니다. 그는 모든 사람에게 온유하고, 잘 가르치고, 참을성이 있어야 하고,
[25] 반대하는 사람을 온화하게 바로잡아 주어야 합니다. 그렇게 하면, 아마도 하나님께서 그 반대하는 사람들을 회개시키셔서, 진리를 깨닫게 하실 것입니다. [디모데후서 2:20-25 RNKSV]

2-1. Believers are used like good soldiers of Jesus Christ
[20] In a great house there are not only golden and silver vessels, but also wooden and earthen vessels, some of which are precious and some of which are common. [21] Therefore if anyone purifies himself from these things, he will be a set apart and precious vessel, to be used by the master for every good work. [22] Flee the lusts of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who seek the Lord from a pure heart. [23] Keep away from foolish and ignorant arguments. For there, as you know, quarrels arise. [24] The Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome; he must be gentle with everyone, well taught, patient, [25] and gently correct anyone who disagrees with him; if he does this, perhaps God will bring those who disagree to repentance and to a realisation of the truth. 2 Timothy 2:20-25 RNKSV
