제목: 용서 (제자도 3)

예수님은 제자들에게 기도를 가르쳐 주셨습니다. 예수님이 가르쳐 주신 기도를 “주기도"라고 합니다. 주기도문에는 “우리에게 일용할 양식(Daily Bread)을 주옵소서"의 기도와, “죄를 용서하여 주소서"의 기도가 있습니다.

일용한 양식을 주옵소서 라는 기도는 물질적인 양식을 구하는 것과 진리의 양식을 구하는 것이 포함되어 있습니다. 물질적 양식을 구한다는 것은 자신의 궁핍과 필요로 부터의 기도입니다. 그리하여 하나님과의 신뢰의 관계안에 있는 자들은 이 기도를 드림으로 하나님께로 부터 물질적 양식을 기도의 응답으로 공급받되, 이웃을 통하여 선물로 받습니다.

진리의 양식은 하나님의 눈으로 보시기에 참 인간으로서 존엄성이 무엇인지를 공급받는 것입니다. 이웃의 형제와 자매로 부터 내가 누구인지, 하나님 앞에서 얼마나 존귀한 존재인지를 날마다 듣고 느끼고 경험하고 감각하도록 공급받을 때 그것을 진리의 양식은 받았다라고 할 수 있습니다.

그렇기 때문에 용서의 기도가 일용할 양식을 구하는 기도로 곧 바로 이어지는 것입니다. 용서를 한다는 것은 또한 용서를 구한다는 것은 누구가의 관계(mutual relation)을 통하여 “참 사람"으로 “존엄성이 있는 존재"로 먹여지고 자라게 되는 섬기는 자리입니다.

“용서는 생명의 떡과 진리의 떡을 교환하는 것으로, 서로의 인간성을 훼손하고 그 존엄성을 부정했던 사람들이 서로가 서로를 먹여 살리고 존엄성을 키우는 관계로 돌아오는 방법입니다.”

용서를 통하여 사랑안에서 자라는 여러분 되시길 축복합니다.

11. 북미 대학생교회 가정교회 연합

We are a group of four house churches in the United States and Canada that are committed to campus student ministry. We hope to have many more churches join us in the future to work on campus ministry and house churches.

We were going to have a pastors' retreat in Boston at the end of July this year, but we have postponed it until next year. Many people say that campus student ministry is challenging. The nature of students is that they will leave the area after a certain period of time, and it is difficult to build up key leaders in the church. Nevertheless, it is a great blessing to be committed to this ministry because the Lord wants to save souls and make disciples through campus.

미국과 캐나다에 캠퍼스 학생 사역을 전념하는 4개의 가정교회 모임입니다. 앞으로 더 많은 교회가 참여하여 캠퍼스 쳐치와 하우스 쳐치 사역에 힘쓰게 되었습니다.

올해 7월 말에 보스턴에서 목회자 연합 수련회를 하려고 하였으나 내년으로 연기하였습니다. 많은 분들이 캠퍼스 학생 사역은 어려움이 많다고 합니다. 학생들의 특성은 어느정도 시기가 지나가면 지역을 떠나게 됩니다. 그리하여 교회의 핵심 리더들을 세우기 어렵다는 것입니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 주님이 캠퍼스를 통하여 영혼구원하고 제자만들기를 원하시기 때문에 이 사역에 헌신하는 것은 큰 감사입니다.

2. Review the previous Sunday's message / 지난 주일 말씀 리뷰

2-1. A disciple is a follower of Jesus. / 제자는 예수를 따르는 자입니다.

- (막 8:34, 새번역) “그리고 예수께서 제자들과 함께 무리를 불러 놓고 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "나를 따라오려고 하는 사람은, 자기를 부인하고, 자기 십자가를 지고, 나를 따라오너라.”

(Mk 8:34, NIV11) “Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”

(Mk 8:34, MSG) “Calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat; I am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I'll show you how.”

2-2. A disciple is one who grows in Christ. / 제자는 자라는 자입니다.

(엡 4:13, 새번역) “그리하여 우리 모두가 하나님의 아들을 믿는 일과 아는 일에 하나가 되고, 온전한 사람이 되어서, 그리스도의 충만하심의 경지에까지 다다르게 됩니다.”

(Eph 4:13, NIV11) “until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

(Eph 4:13, MSG) “until we're all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God's Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ.”

2-3. The disciple restores true humanity in the Trinitarian God of faith, hope, and love.

/ 제자는 믿음, 소망, 사랑의 삼위일체 하나님안에서 참인간성을 회복합니다.

(고전 13:13, 새번역) “그러므로 믿음, 소망, 사랑, 이 세 가지는 항상 있을 것인데, 그 가운데서 으뜸은 사랑입니다.”

(1Co 13:13, NIV11) “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

(1Co 13:13, MSG) “But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation： Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.”

2-4. Love

- Faith and hope and love are the heart of our disciples, of our learning and growing in Christ.
- We shall become ready to grow into love.
- Love: an expression of freedom to receive.
- Love: that which drives us to take time and to let go of anxiety.
- Love: that which permits us to be enriched and to be 'given to', made alive, to be breathed into. Not a passive thing, as some of those image might suggest, but a state of openness to joy.

- Love: not simply as doing good but as a deep contemplative regard for the world, for humanity in general and for human beings in particular, and for God
- Love has to be delight in another, the refusal to be glad at another's failure and the willingnesss to receive truth as a life-giving, joy-giving thing.
- Love is generated by being loved; it is not that we loved God, but that he loved us, says the first letter of John (1 John 4:10)

- 믿음과 소망과 사랑은 그리스도 안에서 배우고 성장하는 제자들의 길에 핵심입니다.
- 우리는 사랑으로 성장할 준비가 되어 있어야 합니다.
- 사랑: 받아들일 수 있는 자유의 표현.
- 사랑: 시간을 갖고 불안을 내려놓게 하는 힘입니다
- 사랑: 우리를 풍요롭게 하고 '주어지는(삶을 헌신하는)', 살아 있게하는 , 숨을 쉬게 하는 것입니다. 일부 이미지가 암시하는 것처럼 수동적인 것이 아니라 기쁨에 열려 있는 상태입니다.

- 사랑: 단순히 선을 행하는 것이 아니라 세상과 인류 일반, 특히 인간과 신에 대한 깊게 묵상하는 사랑입니다.
- 사랑은 다른 사람을 기뻐하는 것, 다른 사람의 실패를 기뻐하지 않는 것, 생명을 주고 기쁨을 주는 진리를 기꺼이 받아들이는 것이어야 합니다.
- 사랑은 사랑받음으로써 생겨나는 것입니다. 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니라 그분이 우리를 사랑하신 것이라고 요한일서는 말합니다(요한일서 4:10).

10. "prayers for daily bread”

A disciple is one who offers "prayers for daily bread," "prayers for truth," "prayers for forgiveness," and "prayers for the future."

/ 제자는 "일용할 양식의 기도", "진리의 양식의 기도", "용서의 양식의 기도", 그리고 "미래의 양식의 기도"를 드리는 자입니다.

11. The bread of Truth / 진리의 양식

11-1. The bread that is shared among Christians is not only material resource but the recongition of dignity.

11-2. The bread of Truth: to recognize human dignity in one another is indeed to share the truth of what humanity is in the eye of God, the nourishment that truth gives.

11-3. We as the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ feed each other by honouring the truth of the divine image in each other.

11-1. 그리스도인들이 나누는 빵은 물질적 자원일 뿐만 아니라 존엄성의 회복입니다.

11-2. 진리의 떡: 서로의 존엄성을 인정한다는 것은 참으로 하나님 보시기에 인간이 어떤 존재인지에 대한 진리, 즉 진리가 주는 자양분을 나누는 것입니다.

11-3. 주 예수 그리스도의 제자인 우리는 서로에게 있는 신성한 형상의 진리를 존중함으로써 서로를 먹입니다.

12. The bread of forgiveness / 용서의 양식

12-1. If we pray, 'Give us this day our daily bread' with all this in mind, it become a prayer that asks God to sustain in us the sense of our humanity in its fullness and its richness; to give us those relations with other human beings that will keep us human, aware of our mortality and our need, yet nourishingly confident that we are loved.

12-2. The prayer affirms that to be in need of this 'bread of truth', in need of material or spiritual nurture, is in now way a failure but, on the contrary, a place of dignity.

12-3. Part of what are praying for in these words is the grace to receive our own humanity as a gift.

12-4. We ask for openness and gratefulness to whoever and whatever awakens us to our dignity and helps us realize that, while our dignity is essentially and primarily given in our creation, it is always in need of being called into active life by relation, by the gift of others.

12-5. And the implication is clear that we should, in doing this, pray to be kept awake to what we owe to the neighbour in terms of gift; their humanity depends on ours ans ours does on theirs.

12-6. Praying for our daily bread is asking to be reacquainted with our vulnerability, to learn how to approach not only God but also each other, with our hands open.

12-1. 이 모든 것을 염두에 두고 '오늘 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵소서'라고 기도하면, 이 기도는 하나님께 우리의 인간성을 충만하고 풍성하게 유지해 주시고, 다른 인간과의 관계를 통해 우리를 인간답게 유지하고, 우리의 필멸성과 필요성을 인식하면서도 우리가 사랑받고 있다는 확신을 가질 수 있게 해 달라고 간구하는 기도가 됩니다.

12-2. 이 기도는 이 '진리의 빵'을 필요로 하고, 물질적 또는 영적 양육을 필요로 하는 것은 지금으로서는 실패이지만 반대로 존엄한 자리임을 확언합니다.

12-3. 이 말씀에서 기도하는 것 중 하나는 우리 자신의 인간성을 선물로 받는 은총입니다.

12-4. 우리는 우리의 존엄성을 일깨워주고, 우리의 존엄성은 본질적으로 그리고 일차적으로 우리의 창조에서 주어진 것이지만, 항상 관계에 의해, 다른 사람의 선물에 의해 적극적인 삶으로 부름받을 필요가 있다는 것을 깨닫도록 도와주는 사람과 모든 것에 대해 개방성과 감사를 구합니다.

12-5. 그리고 그 함의는 우리가 이웃에게 선물로 빚진 것이 무엇인지, 우리의 인간성이 이웃의 인간성에 의존하듯이 이웃의 인간성도 우리의 인간성에 의존한다는 것을 깨어 있기를 기도해야 한다는 것을 분명히 해줍니다.

12-6. 일용할 양식을 위해 기도하는 것은 우리의 연약함을 다시 깨닫고, 하나님뿐 아니라 서로에게 다가가는 방법을 배우기 위해 손을 내밀어 달라고 기도하는 것입니다.

13. prayers for forgiveness

Therefore, prayer seeking truth, that is, prayer seeking true human dignity through others, leads to prayer seeking forgiveness.

그러므로 진리를 구하는 기도, 즉 다른 사람을 통하여 참 인간 존엄성를 구하는 기도는 용서를 구하는 기도로 이어지게 된다.

13-1. Both those who forgive and those who are forgiven receive true human dignity through each other.

용서하는 자나, 용서받는 자 모두 서로를 통하여 참 인간 존엄성을 양식으로 받게 된다.

13-2. 용서하려는 마음

A willing to forgives is clearly the mark of a humanity touched by God - free from anxiety about identity and safety, free to reach out into what is other, as God does in Jesus Christ.

기꺼이 용서하려는 마음은 예수 그리스도 안에서 하나님이 하신 것처럼 정체성과 안전에 대한 불안에서 벗어나 타자를 향해 자유롭게 다가가는, 하나님의 감동을 받은 인류의 표지임이 분명합니다.

13-2. 용서받으려는 마음

A willingness to be forgiven is no less the mark of a humanity touched by God. It is a matter of being prepared to acknowledge that I cannot grow or flourish without restored relationship.

기꺼이 용서받으려는 마음은 하나님의 감동을 받은 사람의 표식입니다. 관계의 회복 없이는 내가 성장하거나 번영할 수 없다는 것을 인정할 준비가 되어 있는 것입니다.

14. Forgiveness is the exchange of the bread of life and the bread of truth: it is the way in which those who have damaged each other's humanity and denied its dignity are brough back into a relation where each feeds the other and murtures therir dignity.

용서는 생명의 떡과 진리의 떡을 교환하는 것으로, 서로의 인간성을 훼손하고 그 존엄성을 부정했던 사람들이 서로가 서로를 먹여 살리고 존엄성을 키우는 관계로 돌아오는 방법입니다.
